Celebrating the Smiths

October 22-24, 2026 · Los Cabos, Mexico

We are so excited.

We can’t wait to celebrate and share this next chapter of our story with our favorite people in one of our favorite places.

When we started planning our wedding, we both wanted something that felt more like a family vacation than a traditional wedding. Our entire love story wouldn’t exist without all of you.

That’s why we are doing something a little different… we will be saying “I do” in a domestic civil ceremony with close family, followed by a celebration weekend with our favorite people in Cabo.

We hope to see you in Cabo.

The Weekend

Our Story

How We Met

We met at work in Charlotte. Brielle started a rotational program after spending 5 years in the same job, and moved down into a cube directly behind Zack. Zack asked Brielle out a few months in, and her response was “no”. A couple of months later, Brielle found out Zack was leaving for Darden, and she sheepishly asked for a first date…

Our Relationship

Our first date started at a speakeasy in Charlotte, and ended closing down karaoke at 2am at Jeff’s Bucket Shop. We quickly skipped the “talking phase” and moved right into a long distance relationship, with Zack getting his MBA in Charlottesville and Brielle staying back in Charlotte. Throughout the 2-year program, we made sure we were never apart for more than 2 weeks in a row.

Our Engagement

During his summer internship at BCG, Zack was busy building a brand new career and planning for our future. He asked Marcia and Jack for Brielle’s hand in marriage, bought a ring and confided in all his coworkers he was going to propose.

Zack proposed in Paris while walking through the gardens in the Louvre. This time Brielle said “yes” the first time around.
